Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Wow! I am beyond glad that I brought my car here. I'd been in to multiple Autonation service departments for other warranty covered repairs and they kept telling me that I needed to replace both the front and back brake rotors and pads. Since the brakes aren't covered under warranty, I called around and decided to bring it in to Dan's Brake World because they had excellent reviews and gave me a reasonable estimate. I made an appointment and brought it in. They did a quick inspection and were quickly able to discern that both the local AutoNation (FORD + TOYOTA) services departments were trying to scam me into doing unnecessary repairs. Dan's Brake World has earned my business for life because of their honesty. I was in and out in less than an hour, because all that actually needed to be replaced was my rear brake pads, and my final bill was significantly less than I had planned from four rotors and four pads down to just two pads. Thank you so much.

The level of service was fantastic. I can’t speak highly enough of the service I received from Dan’s Brake World! Everyone was helpful, friendly, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. My car needed some TLC, and they quickly took care of the issues, called to confirm the pricing—which was extremely reasonable—and had my car back home that same morning. I highly recommend Dan’s Brake World to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and friendly auto service!

5 stars is too low. From the moment I called to set up my appointment, to my car being fixed up, the experience was phenomenal. Called and scheduled an appointment for the next day, got it there 15 minutes early, and they immediately got it in and started working I know nothing about cars whatsoever so I called a few stores and looked for quotes online to see what it might cost to fix my issue… let’s just say all quotes I got were 2-3 times more expensive than Dan’s. They also informed me of another issue that and recommended replacing, but never once pressured me to do it. He simply just gave me the quote on the replacement cost, and once again, it was WAY more affordable than the quotes I saw online, and let me decide. they didn’t charge any extra for labor, like most other shops would. Everyone I interacted with there were incredibly kind, personable and respectful. I’m always anxious when taking my car to a new shop for the first time, and I never felt anxious at any moment. My car is now running great, and I’m happy to finally have a shop I trust!

Dan and his son Anthony have been servicing my Mother’s car for years. When I was having issues with my A/C I took it to them. Took care of the A/C issue, just needed a freon charge. They noticed some other potential issues and recommended keeping an eye on them versus replacement. Honesty and fair prices is all I can ever want from my mechanic. Would highly recommend them.
